Description : Clown Bluey's History of Clowns: Circus: Many circus's offered a 'Charivari' where all the acts, or sometimes just the clowns, paraded into the ring, dancing, tumbling, balancing and performing with various props. The clowns soon adapted to the larger "arena" of a circus which added a new dimension to their clowning - while continuing to dance, sing and act, they acquired new talents which were better suited to the large arena. The circus clowns skilfully burlesqued horse-riding, juggling and wire-walking. They became spectacular acrobats and tumblers and musicians.
